Sandra Gillis-Kennedy, O.D.

Dr. Sandra Gillis-Kennedy is an Optometrist at Shelburne Primary EyeCare. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Waterloo and then received her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo.

Sandra has an interest in Type I and Type II diabetes. She has completed courses at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to further educate her patients about diabetes and overall wellness to preserve their gift of sight. She received her certificate in Advanced Ocular Disease & Therapeutics at Northern State University. Sandra is both an authorizer and vendor for the Assistive Device Plan (ADP) to assist patients who require low vision aids. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

In her spare time, Dr Gillis-Kennedy enjoys downhill skiing, scuba diving and mountain biking.
